What's in a name

Today in math we got into groupsand my group was Keah, Harmony and me. We had to work up there secret codes for there names. I found it challenging to work out there codes for there code for there names. I found it easy to know what to do. Jim code was 1 9 4 and Jan code was 115.  Here is my working.

today in maths we had to share out the cupcakes evenly on plates I share them out evenly. On each plate I found it hard to solve it because the first time I didn't know what to do. I found it easy to write it down. Here is my working out. 

Going on a bear hunt - Maths - Driections

In math we are learning about directions. We listen to the story. Going on a bear hunt. We picked out the obstacles in the story. Then we drew a map of the story. We had to think carefully where to put the obstacles.

Then we had to write directions from the house to the cave. We had to use north, west, east and south. I found it hard to write the directions down. I found it easy to draw the obstacles. here is my directions. Hope you like it.

With Mrs S we did Fractions. we made a pizza base and put our topping on it. we then had to work out what fractions of each topping we had.

This week I have been doing learning about measurement.
 I have found it is hard to do some body parts  with the ruler so I use the tap measure.
I measured with myself using cm. 
What I found hard was and not easy like lips thighs, eyes.
We use cm not km because it to long.
